Greetings and Salam,
We hope you are doing well in during Restricted Movement Order, RMO season. We understand some of your worries to re-schedule your wedding plan due to this outbreak issue. Fret not, take your time to revise your wedding dates, keep us updated on any changes. Will post a heads up on event details customers should take note on such as ;
1) invitation quantity and quantity food order.
If you order for 500 pax, your invitation should be halved, within 200-300 guests top. Assuming one card brings 2 people. Unless your guests mostly come with 3 or 4 people, you will have to reduce your invitation OR add up your food.
2) how do caterers spot if customers lie/manipulate their invitation quantity .
Our kitchen crew never cut or reduce food supply for 15 years. If customers somehow invite guests more than it was planned, kindly get back to us on ordering additional pax, do not hide and blame caterers when food runs out early.
On pantry team side, we provide half quantity of plates in one basket . We know it is 500 pax when it is washed twice. If it is washed 4 and more time, we know that it is 1000 pax.
Bear in mind, we know where to spot the lie. We encounter this situation 2 out of 10 events we handled. If you are inviting more, you have to spend more or your event will not be smooth. Our items in 500pax package fit enough to cater 500 pax with the seating quantity , Waiter quantity. If you add more pax you have to spend on additional food AND additional Waiter to cater for the additional guests.
3) notes to the upcoming customers; Maximum guests you could have to have canopy wedding at your neighbourhood is 500pax. If you plan to invite more guests we suggest you to look out for halls as it offers comfort for larger number of people especially in 1) seatings 2) parking 3) vehicle access 4) facilities / large crowd requires comfort for toilet, breastfeeding room, rest room for the elders.
Kindly take note on your guests comfort in attending your events. You could have events that fit your budget if you follow that accordingly. We will be more strict in educating our customers as we don't want all these in shorts to happen anymore as it will be bad for long term reputation. Please consult us for more event details.

Regards, Ecks team
